THE SERVICE

This service is a directory. I take no part in any contract between yourself and any party introduced through this app and accept no liability contractural or otherwise. You should follow due diligence when contracting with any party introduced to you through this app.

FEES

This service is currently free. A low fee, (maybe £1 pm) may be applicable later if the service is useful and used.

PURPOSE

The aim of this service is for solicitors firms to contact their own staff, duty solicitor freelancers, regular agents and agents available at or near a police station or magistrates court where the firm need cover without incurring agency fees and having to call around various agents to see who is free.

For agents and freelancers this service offers the chance to build relationships with local solicitors firms and be available to cover work for firms across the jurisdiction when at or near a venue, without incurring agency fees.

METHOD

The service is phone app based. I own this app and I personally guarantee that your data will not be sold on or traded by myself.

This is not a tracking app.

You chose to either have your location captured once by the gps location of your phone to register your availability and distance from local courts or police stations, or you can manually enter the court or police station you are currently or will be at.

Location data is stored on the database to be displayed to members searching for cover. Once you cancel your availability your location is removed from the database.

You retain control. If you move location you will need to cancel your availability at the former location and re-enter your location as the new location.

By default, all specific court availability is wiped at 16.30, all specific police station availability is wiped after 4 hours, all gps coordinate entries are wiped at midnight.

APPLICATIONS

You may apply to join on the app. Please click on the link below to download the app. We are not available on the App Store as we are not a service for the general public. We are registered with Apple and Google and our apps have to meet their standards.

SECURITY

You will note that the personal data we require you to enter is pubically available on most solicitors websites and for duty solicitors, on the publicly available duty solicitor lists. I will use my best endeavours to protect your data from cybersecurity threats by using commercially available security.

Your part in protecting your data is to use a long and complicated password. Do not share your password.
